1. Scope
HuntersMindset, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("we", "us"), operates HuntList. This notice covers the HuntList beta only. It does not cover other HuntersMindset sites or services.
HuntList is invite-only. Accounts exist because we created them. It is for people 18 or older who reside in the United States, and it is not offered for use outside the United States.
2. Our commitments
- We do not sell your information, and we show no advertising.
- We do not share your lists with other members. HuntList has no sharing feature.
- We collect no location coordinates. Geography is recorded no more precisely than a hunting unit or zone. We do not use a map, require GPS permission, or use background location.
- We do not log the contents of your lists.
- We collect nothing merely because it is available.
3. What we collect
Account: your email address, the account identifier our authentication provider assigns, your role, and whether you have set a password. Passwords are stored as hashes by that provider; we never see them. Your invitation record holds the invited address, who invited it, when a sign-in code was issued and when it expires, and whether the invitation was revoked. The code itself is never stored.
Your lists: categories, items, quantities, notes, and per-trip status, plus the trip context attached to a list — state, hunting unit or zone, ecoregion, elevation, terrain, weapon, hunting style, season phase, temperature band, lodging, duration, pack-in distance, and meat plan.
Acceptance record: which version of the beta terms you accepted, when, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older and a United States resident.
Feedback: the kind and text of any feedback note, and which category was on screen when you wrote it.
Device and technical: your session tokens, the copy of your own list HuntList keeps on your device so the app works offline, app error reports, and authentication and database logs from our providers, which may include your account identifier, timestamps, and IP address.
Import requests: if you paste a list for HuntList to organize, that text and your existing list are sent to our AI provider to produce a draft. We don't log the content. When a response fails validation, we record what failed, not what was in it.
4. How we use it
To provide and synchronize your list; to keep you signed in and secure your account; to answer support requests and diagnose problems; to fix errors and improve reliability; and to meet legal obligations and enforce the beta terms.
That is the whole list. We do not rely on open-ended purposes such as "any other business purpose", and a materially new use is disclosed before it begins.
Learning from list content is opt-in. HuntList may later suggest gear based on what members actually carry. That will ask you first, it is revocable, and contributions are aggregated so a suggestion cannot be traced back to any member. Until you opt in, we don't use your list content for it.
Recipients are limited to the providers that run HuntList: a hosting, database and authentication platform; a static-hosting and CDN provider; an error-tracking destination; and an AI provider, only for an import you start. Each receives only what that function requires.
5. Retention

6. Deletion and your choices
Ask us and we will delete your account. Within 30 days your lists, items, notes, and the attribution on your feedback are removed from our active systems. We keep the acceptance record described above, and anything we are legally required to keep.
You can also correct your account information, delete individual items or categories, get a copy of your list, and exercise any additional right that applies where you live — including rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and not be treated differently for asking.
Security notices, material changes to this notice, and deletion confirmations cannot be turned off while your account exists. HuntList sends no marketing email.
7. Security, changes, and contact
We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and database-enforced row ownership so one member's data is not reachable by another. No method is completely secure; protect your password and tell us promptly if you suspect someone else has used your account. If information is exposed in a way that requires notification, we notify the people and regulators the law requires.
We may update this notice; we will post the new version with its date and ask for acceptance again where required.
